    Whole-Home LVP Renovation

    The Challenge

    A growing family in a master-planned St. George neighborhood wanted to replace the original builder-grade carpet across the entire main floor with one continuous waterproof surface that could handle two kids, a dog, and Southern Utah's red-dirt tracking — without dark seams or bouncy spots over the slab.

    What We Did

    We pulled and disposed of the existing carpet and pad, ground down two high spots in the slab, and installed a wide-plank rigid-core LVP rated for high heat and direct sun exposure. Transitions were custom-cut to wrap a curved island and meet the existing tile in the entry without using cheap T-strips.

    The Result

    One continuous floor across the main living space, kitchen, and hallways. The homeowners reported a noticeably quieter floor underfoot and zero gaps after the first full summer of expansion and contraction.

    Custom Tile Master Shower Remodel

    The Challenge

    A Hurricane homeowner wanted to convert a dated fiberglass tub-shower combo into a fully tiled walk-in shower with a bench seat and a recessed niche — and they had already had a bad experience with a previous contractor who left grout cracks within the first year.

    What We Did

    Our crew demoed the existing surround down to studs, rebuilt the curb and bench, and installed a fully bonded waterproof membrane system before any tile went up. We laid 12x24 porcelain on the walls in a staggered pattern, hand-cut a built-in niche, and used an epoxy grout in the wet zones to resist mildew.

    The Result

    A clean, modern walk-in shower with no exposed seams in the wet zone and a fully sloped, properly drained pan. The homeowner now has a shower that should outlast the rest of the bathroom — and a clear photo set for the next remodel they have planned.

    Engineered Hardwood Living Room

    The Challenge

    A homeowner in the Kayenta area of Ivins wanted real wood character in their main living and dining space, but was worried about Southern Utah's dryness causing planks to gap, cup, or check the way solid hardwood often does in the desert.

    What We Did

    We recommended a wide-plank engineered hardwood with a stable multi-ply core specifically rated for low-humidity climates, and installed it using the manufacturer's recommended glue-down method directly to the slab after a full moisture test. Transitions were undercut into existing door jambs for a flush, cabinet-quality finish.

    The Result

    A warm, natural wood floor that complements the home's red-rock surroundings and has stayed flat and tight through a full summer-to-winter cycle — the look of real hardwood without the dimensional movement headaches.

    Multi-Room Carpet Replacement

    The Challenge

    A Washington Fields family wanted to replace the original builder carpet in three bedrooms, a bonus room, and a full staircase. Their priorities: something that hid foot traffic patterns, held up to kids and pets, and felt noticeably softer than the thin pad they had under the old carpet.

    What We Did

    We helped them choose a mid-pile stain-resistant carpet in a neutral tone that masks vacuum tracks, then upgraded the pad to a higher-density 8-lb cushion for a warmer, quieter feel. Stairs were waterfall-installed and tightly stapled at every tread for a clean edge that won't lift over time.

    The Result

    New carpet installed in two days with zero damage to existing trim or paint. The family said the difference in how the floors feel — especially on the stairs — was their favorite part of the whole project.

    Backyard Artificial Turf Install

    The Challenge

    A St. George homeowner was tired of fighting a dead, water-hungry backyard lawn under triple-digit summer heat. They wanted a low-maintenance green space their dogs could use year-round without mud, brown spots, or rising water bills.

    What We Did

    We removed the existing sod, regraded for drainage, installed a compacted base course, and laid a pet-rated artificial turf with an antimicrobial infill. Edges were tucked under hardscape and pinned every few inches so the perimeter stays put through monsoon storms.

    The Result

    A green, usable backyard 12 months a year with no watering, no mowing, and a noticeably lower summer water bill. The homeowners say their dogs use the yard more than they did before — and the turf still looks new after its first full Southern Utah summer.
